Riding conditions in N Fairfield?

A friend and I are going to go riding in the north Fairfield, ID area on the 3rd. Just wondering if anyone went up there last weekend and could give a report on Coutch Summit and Salt Creek? Which would be better? Have they started grooming yet? Would you take your beginner wife, or is it too deep/dangerous? Would you go riding somewhere else, with in reasonable distance?

Anybody want to go? My Friend had something come up and can't make it. He said maybe Thursday, but not sure. I would like to ride Tues, Weds, or Thurs. I have a two place and a Truck to get us there and ride a Pro-RMK 800.
