Riding Cold Creek tomorrow

Think me and a friend are going to try and ride from Cold Creek sno park tomorrow. Anyone else going to be up there? This will be our first time and some advice on where to go would be nice. Send me a PM or text me at 360-921-7042 if you want to meet up. We should be there around 8-8:30

i would love to show you around but

cant go til sun, there will be somebody up there hopefully they know how to get the goods. let me know how it was , mike 3605625736 im in kelso

We will be there but probably an hour behind you. If your still in the now park look for a red dodge cummins with a deck, 2 Polaris one black one red.
Not quite sure why but we are going to give it a try. I just read that the top of white pass hit 59 degrees and paradise at rainier hit 69 degrees yesterday. That's one insane inversion. That 8' of snow is going to be well set up! Probably be a short day.
Maybe we will see ya.
Ken

@sunbather

I will definitely let ya know what it is like up there today, if it turns out to be halfway decent then I may double back and go tomorrow as well. I want to get as much riding in as I can, pretty dry forecast ahead...

@krazyken

Alright! We will probably see ya up there! I'll be in a white Ford f150 with a two place. I'll have walkie talkies on channel 1 if ya want to meet up.

Are you guys still riding gc today? The road In looks bad. No snow. And they have the road closed sign up and a small burm

I was coming back from Gallagher last night and there were 3 sled heading back to the GC snow park. Leaving sparks the entire way from the gravel to the turn around. You may want to enter from the east side. Don't know if it's any better but it can't be any worse

That's actually what i did. There was snow all the way down to the parking lot.but was rock hard everywhere. It was really a bad day up there.don't waste your money. You could not break through anywhere.

Made it up to Cold Creek today... Decent day riding, but I'm pretty sure I lost my sleds ecu :/ looks like I may be out for the season:face-icon-small-sad. But, the snow was ok. Rode out of the turnaround of the 1205 rd. went up to section 3, real mushy and slushy but you could still have some fun and ride in some tracks. Really icy where they groomed, don't even ride the 1000 road, hit gravel after the second switchback. Would be great riding if this was April/may...

PS... BIG Thank you to Joe who I rode with today. Ended up pulling me back to the trailer with his skidoo. Never thought I'd be caught behind the tow rope of a skidoo... :face-icon-small-ton
