Where can you ride around Kimberly? I have access to a free condo year round and figured I might as well make use of it.

Thanks

If ya go around xmas...head up the st mary's lake road and then head up meachen creek all the way to the end and it takes ya right into haystack lake...sick pow up there man good times!

There is lots of good riding. The St Mary's has its share of good stuff. Lumberton is fun but a little out of the way from Kimberley.

There have been a ton of closures in the St Mary's valley. Sled visits up there have skyrocketed over the past 2 -3 years. Many of the places we used to ride are closed for caribou. There is a map floating around so you should know where the closures are and stay out. Sledding in the area is more threatened than the caribou.

The above mentioned Haystack Lake area is a dicey spot closure wise. There is a very small corridor motorized can use in the winter to get up there but once in the bowls you are not supposed to go anywhere else. As you ride up you have to stay on the roads as well. It is a good spot and gets lots of snow usually. Route finding up to the higher lakes can be challenging if you don't know where you are going

Find a local in Kimberley and you should be able to get to good stuff. And as a rule you are not allowed to tell any of your out of town friends how good it was or where you went!!!!!!!!

20 more sleds a day in the Mary's is going to shut it down for good!
