Hey everybody, I have to be in Breckenridge for a week over Christmas and was wondering if there is any good riding areas close to Breckenridge? Thanks in advance

Go up tiger run road north of town by the golf coarse. Parking area a couple miles up the road, there are several good areas to ride as long as they have some snow.

I thought that was all closed this year?? Am I off on that? (that would be nice)

I was old by a local that rides there that its still open.

Cool! Good to know!

We need to KEEP people riding there then. I was always of the opinion that less people riding in these little areas is better, but talking to the guys that deal with the circus it seems it's the exact opposite. Show a certain level of use & it's harder to take it away.

Pennsylvania Gulch, Baldy Mtn and the area above the keystone dump are now closed BUT. St Johns, North and Middle forks are OPEN so yeah ride it up granted we don't have snow....

Thanks for the help guys! It looks like they are picking up some nice snow now at least!

Sts John will be open? I hope so, I thought they were going to try and restrict us to going over Deer Creek.

KG, If you park where Kdog1 said, and ride up the trail. Just before you get to good times rentals, go left before the bridge. Ride that trail all the way up (stay to the left) that will take you to the back side of St. Johns's. You can ride there or cross over the saddle (sometime a decent cornice needs to be knocked down) and you can access St. Johns. If you stay on the trail and go over the bridge, that will take you to Georgia Pass. Great riding in both locations as long as they have snow. Be careful up there, St. Johns area has high avalanch activity.

The only issue we MAY have with riding over there is the owner of GOOD TIMES is having issues with punk *** retarded snowmobilers messing with there tours sooooo he MAY be closing down the north fork access BUT it is still accessible from Montazuma. The fact that i even heard this just f**king grinds my gears, i hope i find out who it was.

Haven't rode back in St. John's at all. It's pretty rocky up that way so I don't risk it with the low snow pack.
