Ride stampede on sunday? Good or bad idea?

I was at Stampede yesterday.Got there around 2 pm...RAIN!! Didn't even take the sleds off of the trailer.Was going to stay the night but it was still raining and windy so left for home.

Just drove through at 1:00 pm on Saturday.
The lot is FILLED, so unless there is a HUGE dump overnight, you will be in everyone else's tracks.
There is about 2 feet of snow in the parking lot and it was SNOWING pretty good at this time. Based on the estimates there should be a good dumping tonight, so get there early and hope you have fresh snow to ride on.

the last I heard there was no contract for the plowing of stampede pass parking lot, the contractor had decided not to renew his plowing conteact, now that was 2 or 3 weeks ago, It would be a real mess if there was no plowing for the weekend,,,,,,,,,,,,,,if a new contractor has signed on let me know....................
Were the gates to the parking lot open? We rode there last Sunday and the lot was CLOSED. Everyone was parking in front on the access to the Sno -Park.
I was there on Friday night . IT IS OPEN!!
