Ride safe out there~ !

Bash these guys all you want, but honestly, I probably would have attempted that hill. Videos like these are reminders that we may not know what is safe or not.

Because the inability to truly predict a slide, my buddy and I opted to sled beginner areas, and completely take out the temptation to climb the hills.

Wonder if the PNW will even be safe this year for hill climbing due to the ice layer at the base.

newbies with cameras

I am thankfull they posted it.

What ever way you lean on this the vid is good for all of us to see

thank you to whoever put the vid up as many of us would not have.

Its tough for me to call them stupid as Im sure Ive been on many hills that "could" have popped as well. I watch as many of these videos as I can to help myself learn as much about Avy's as possible through second hand experiences. The more we know the better.

I find it very easy to call him stupid and irresponsible when it comes to avi safety.

Rule #1 - Only one guy on the hill at a time!!

Don't go help you stuck buddy on the hill, he can dig out himself, and definitely don't high mark him. That guys was a sitting duck and is lucky to be alive.

That vid is a classic example of what not to do. Thanks for putting it on here. Nice to see the airbag got deployed and did it's trick too.
