Well the guys and I made a jet up to Strawberry today. Parked at the visitor's center and looped up on to Strawberry Ridge. Rode all the way south and down into Indian Creek. Water skipped the bay at Indian Creek, nearly got me a goose (that might hurt I decided so I dodged out of the way) then bombed back to Haws Point, across the lake to the Bay and had lunch.

Then back to the truck and home.

We need SNOW. There was more new snow at my house in Riverton than in the Strawberry Valley. We broke the ATV trail all the way south on Strawberry Ridge and it was sketchy in places. Lots of dead falls and stumps sticking out.

But the trails were all groomed silky smooth. That was the high point.

Sounds like you need to go ride a different area.;)

Water skippin and Goose chasing = must buy Helmet Cam:D

Was there any snow at all there between the 19th and yesterday?

I was there on the 19th and we parked at one of the lots of 40 and rode up Daniel's Summit loop from there.

There was nothing down low, and once you got into the trees up on Daniel's there was maybe 2' of totally baseless light powder in the trees .... no base to speak of.

I thought there was supposed to be new snow coming in this week ... I've been in Wyoming for Christmas all week but my parents were thinking about coming back to Utah with me and we were gonna go ride there.

Maybe it'll snow some more soon ..... :o

Not in the forecast in the next few days. Storm track shifted and went way East, on the plains and the South down around I70.:mad:
