Super happy with my Roosterbuilt clutch kit for the Pro. Riding locally in WA the clutching has been perfect from unload at 2800-3000 to 6000-6500 feet. Holding RPM right at 8250 no matter what the snow or elevation conditions. Never had ANY sled hold RPM like this. Super snappy exceleration, great backshift and nice engine braking. I also rode the sled in Alpine last week at 8000-9500 and the big brains at Roosterbuilt had me covered there too. Just took off the secondary and rotated the helix a quarter turn to the high elevation angle. I ran right at 8000 RPM. The next day I installed a new X-3 track and 7 tooth Avid drivers. The sled was really lazy off the bottom and middle and wouldn't pull RPM. I swapped in some 10-62 weights and the snap was back, pulled 7900-8050. What I should have done was pull weight out of the MTX arms but I am not that smart, will do that next time. Roosterbuilt is not known for Poo clutching as Doo is their claim to fame but I highly recommend their Pro setup. If you are a WA rider of a Pro it is a complete no brainer.

Can vouch for them too. Countless hours testing and in different conditions. They have their own helix made by TEAM too. Doo or Poo, can't go wrong....

I had a steel 12 driveshaft with 7 tooth drivers on it. That and 3 guys is all it took. It's tight getting the shaft in and my bearing seal had already been beat up a little from an earlier install but it didn't take very long with really good help. The X-3 track is pretty awesome on stock or near stock sleds(works awesome on turbo sleds too). It's built lighter, 53lbs I think for a 162-15", and its supposed to be easier to turn. I even liked the "handling" of the sled better with it on. A little harder to initiate a side hill but it seemed to hold lines better. A few times it got me over the top where a stock track would have trenches out or I would have had to turn out.
