AG-801 Small Case Lithium Battery
The Antigravity AG-801 Lithium Motorsports battery is one of the most popular models. Extremely lightweight powerful battery in a small package.antigravitybatteries.com
Curious how big the battery is they have for the screen. I would think it’s smaller since I don’t see to many people carrying a 240 cranking amp battery around to power laptops and iPads that have bigger screens and processing capabilities then what’s on the sled.I'm already looking at antigravity batteries to replace the stock one that it'll come with. 1.5 lbs total.

Great question. Guess we won’t know till we see a demo or shop manual for it. It’d be even cooler to drop a battery size and use the 120 crank amp battery. I’m sure it’ll tie into shot somehow.Curious how big the battery is they have for the screen. At 48:20 in the Q&A video this question is asked and they mentioned the battery is “much smaller than the e-start battery” so promising that it’s already light ??Great question. The Polaris 7S screen has a battery backup. It will stay on for about 8 minutes after turned off. It has enough capacity to even handle updates with running engine. It is the size of a pack of cigarettesWhen the Polaris PIDD came out, it required electric start/battery. Don't imagine the new screen will require a large battery.
Typo mistake. Can do updates with engine off.The Polaris 7S screen has a battery backup. It will stay on for about 8 minutes after turned off. It has enough capacity to even handle updates with running engine. It is the size of a pack of cigarettes
You don't need service. Coolest thing ever. You only need service if you don't have gauge. Tracks someone else through app on phone. My buddy had a screen from whatever company polaris bought to get this tech. He uses it on his dirt bike in summer. We could track him and vise versa. Said it was 300 dollars. Obviously not as nice to look at or set up but said they had bigger ones.Does anyone here have direct experience with the Polaris ride command set up in the mountains? Looking at the app page it states cell service is required for the buddy tracking feature. Same thing that the BRP GO page says.
I get the GPS functionality works with a cell phone on airplane mode/out of service but does the buddy tracking on the Polaris actually work well out of cell service? Most places I'm riding we're out of service for the entire day.

Yep. I just couldn't remember the name. He had last years polaris but mounted that to his sled. Said he didn't know how to use everything and more of a pain to set up. Tech savvy people who like to play with stuff, it's probably easy. We looked for guy on a doo for half an hour that didn't have a radio. This tracking feature is coolest thing ever. We even cut a bunch of switchbacks and it let you know how far you could go and still hit trail. Imo its the coolest thing to come to snowmobiles in as long as i can remember. Factory turbos are awesome but i had first turbo in 98. I did come out on a rope a lot....I think you are talking about Trail Tech.

That's what I saw too.Did I see that if you get this big gauge that you also get a heated bag and USB port to pug your phone in?
