Shortly after Brian missed the pinecone we head into an area that we know will be on a billboard soon....... The fun didn't last too long. Since Graveler broke his sled and we didn't have an extra track or pull rope, I let him borrow my spare sled. Bad plan. After a night of frustration the new theme for the trip turned into "I'm going to burn this place down".

It first starts with Graveler running Sapling down like a missle on the hill and running him over... Give the guy a break!! He's on a M6! Pop quiz: how many people should be on the hill at any time? Answer.... as many as you want and if the guy in front of you is slower than run his a$$ off the hill!! Here is Graveler apologizing to the recently overturned Sapling....

Don't even bother trying to figure it out...

The day ends for Graveler when he decides to burn down my EFI sled.... How does one do that??? Since we are in an area that is not favorable to towing sleds out we have to break out the SAT PHONE!!!! Nornally this is reserved for XPs....

I think I hear a chopper coming......

Yes I do....

The first attempt at landing resulted in the tail rotor dipping into the snow.... so he bounced back up and moved a bit south for a better spot....

The pilot is quick with the rope... I think he's done this a time or two before...

I heard him sniffle a couple of times...

The pilot says he'll be back in 10 minutes to pick up Graveler... he wasn't kidding!

Run!!! Get on that thing... the motor time is costing me money here!!!

This is the part where the heli pilot is arguing with Graveler on who will be flying the bird.... Go to the other door and shut up and sit down...

Which he finally does under protest...

The snow was a bit harsh on the face for this picture...

So now Graveler is off to the heli port to make a swap of the track and pull rope from my sled over to his. I tell him no sight seeing with the heli since I was paying for it and I wasn't going to be on the trip to see it... He then gave me a smirk as he got in....

Now why is the chopper banking hard to the left??

Oh you A-Hole!! On my dime he directs the pilot to a little sight seeing trip!!! Ba$tard!!!!

Now with Graveler out of our hair, we can get some riding in....

Off we go... weather turned out great.... no whiney orange man complaining about the pathetic nightlife.... just fresh snow and nobody around....

Where is this? does it matter??? you probably couldn't climb this anyway...

A two wheel kit gone bad.... nothing that a wood saw couldn't fix...

After some on the hill fabricating.... she was ready to ride out..... That will teach you to take pictures of hurt animals!!

Now that Graveler has worked his primal frustration out on sleds that break, we can look forward to a day of riding....right??

Someone heard about the rocks up there....

One thing that most M-riders know... just remove the windshield... Some like Sapling like the rental sled look and leave it on... Then the sled makes the decision for you....

Full throttle upside down is good...

As for the XP it was hit or miss for awhile.... Fordman stood by with the phone just in case.

Thanks to the Sabertooth there were no more choppers....yet

Just for the record... This was my view of the windshield removal. 3/4 throttle at most. Only time the "kill swith" failed me all day!

Good things come to those who work for it...

So Saturday started off with a wake up call at 5am followed by a horrible breakfast at Dennys at 5:30 followed by the hurry up and wait line to get into the parking lot followed by the three of us sitting in the truck watching the Ozone Guy wander around for attention. A lot of posing going on here.....

I did enjoy the constant smell of propane for the first two hours. So the plan was to head out and ride for a few hours and then head over to watch the gong show. I'll just post a few random pics of what we found....

We didn't make it to the gong show... had way too much fun elsewhere. There are more pics to come from Snobyrd and Sapling and maybe even Graveler..... Took us 9.5 hours to get home.
