They said around 200 people on the hill, not sure if that included the spectators..

Just talked to Whittaker who talked to Amber & Bud, they said Dan Davidoff, Brian Witherspoon and group are OK.

I know Trent and Sheldon and friends from Walt Healy are all good. I heard they figure 5-6 dead at least. I hope this is wrong but I was told sleds and bodys may take some time to locate. One if the worst things they have ever seen !

This what I heard from a friend that was at top, just about to go down to help a friend that was stuck near the top. He heard another sled coming up, and decided to wait, the sled came up on the right hand side and over the top of my friend that was stuck and set the avy off. He is dead, and another friend at the bottom dead.

I have 2 friends dead, 5 others that were at the bottom taken to the hospital, one flown to Calgary....sounds like they are ok though.

I have heard 7 dead, and that there were "several hundred" caught in the avy at the bottom.

Another friend was buried at the bottom, and his brother got him out.
numerous sleds still up there burried, out of the group of 12 or so that my son and I were going to meet up there with( I cancelled my hotel reservations on Wednesday), at least 8 of their sleds are still up there.

Absolutely tragic.......I'm stunned. Have friends up there that are supposed to be giving me a report, I will report more as I hear!!

This so terrible. Me and my buds canceled our rooms Monday and
we are in new Denver right now. If

I have another friend from Browning still missing. Guy flown to Calgary has broken leg, arm and pelvis, another friend has a broken arm and possibly had a heart attack!

Oh man............i don't even know what tosay. Prayers to everyone.

OMFG.
I first saw this thread and read through it as fast as I could...THIS IS AWFUL.

Judging from pics of years gone by...there could have been a thousand peeps at the bottom of that hill.

I HOPE NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
