Revelstoke b.c. Where to stay

Okay.
I will make it a point to hit BOTH PLACES while we are there in February and COMPARE the two.

Village Idiot has what I consider to be THE BEST NACHOS in Canada.

These were nothing short of FANTASTIC!!

Village Idiot, Big Eddy, and Chubby Funsters have the same owners, all have great food. Big Eddy is more my scene, caters to sledders more than skiers and a bit rough around the edges though not what it used to be. Try the brisket sandwich and wash it down with a pint or 5 of nasty habit.

Mountain Meals makes muffpot meals to go and their chicken pot pie is awesome.

On the topic of riding areas, are there any to make a point of getting to?
This can be quit a moving target or subject. A lot of factors come in to play, your level of riding skill, current snow and weather conditions.
What area one might think is epic when they were there can be nightmare for someone else on a different trip. Simply because of skill level differences and changing conditions.
Either way currently snow conditions are good, lots of fresh has hit this week and more coming.
Once you get there you’ll get things figured out, lots of different levels of areas to check out. i have been riding there lots and haven’t rode everywhere yet.
Cheers, have fun.
Ps some go to revy to eat some go to ride...... I choose to ride.

Personally, I would say we are above average skill level basing on groups we've ridden with in the past, but that's my opinion. It will all be new areas to us.

OK, that explains a LOT.

Well, after lots of wind and -30 temps, 1600 miles later we are sitting in our room at glacier house. We are going to check out frisby or boulder tomorrow and go from there. If anyone is in the area, we would be glad to meet up. It's my brother, my wife, and myself we have airbags, and all avy gear and know how to use it. We've also taken mike duffy's class. Hope to find some good snow!
