Revelstoke advice

on both boulder and frisby there are cabins that you need to sign in and out of---for search and rescue. you can definitely leave your gas there, very few thefts. it does happen, just not very often that's for sure. never had mine or any of my groups go missing

Cool! Are the cabins at the trail end, or a little further in?

cabins are at the end of the trail, just before you head up into the play areas

Perfect thanks man!

...what about the trail passes, are they for sale at the resort, or the start of the trail? Can you buy one for several days at a time or is it a per day thing?

You should be able to buy your passes right at the Glacier House and if there is no multi- day discount just purchase day to day, you never know when some will break down or (shudder) wreck. Also if Revy is overcast, heard it happens sometimes, you could always drive 45 min to Blue Lake. If you have never been to the mountains, be sure to take your camera, extra fuel, extra drinking water, video cam, food, sunscreen and be prepared to be amazed.
If you still need a guide Rene at www.eaglevalleymarine.com would be an excellent choice, really nice guy and an amazing rider as well.

Just hire Rene and dont look back !! You'll have the best sledding trip ever.

A few pic’s from Revy last weekend at Boulder Mtn. Conditions awesome! The boys with 136 tracks were climbing lots the snow was incredible, hard with light powder on top great to play, Fast hills lots of jumps and cornice drops.
Take note: Beware of the fog, it rolls in fast and thick lots of steep drops, the weather can change like a snap up top.
Safe riding have a great time.

Trail passes are sold at the trailheads. Sorry no multi-day passes. If you are riding 6 days you might want to purchase a membership.:D If the snow doesn`t hold up on the lower trails the roads will be plowed to parking areas on both mtns. about 3 kms. up. You`ll have no problems with getting around at this time of yr.
Streeter St. the connector trail from Frisby to Boulder usually doesn`t last into Apr.
Have a safe trip.

Do you know how much the memberships are? If they are close in cost we might just do that and save having to stop everyday....and support a club, I'm always up for that.

Thanks for taking the time to post....lots of great feedback on snowest I should have joined here a long time ago!!

I went to Canadian Tire today with my wildchild rack and found the jerry cans that fit in it.....sweet rack wildchild!!! So now I've got everything I need to convert my sled, I'm going to have one last short track ride this weekend then convert it over!!!

Nice pic...I see some potentially LARGE drops on the left! Hit it up Revster!

That spots sure looks familiar, it was a blast!!! Except for the guy that got stuck on the top of a tree to the right there. Anyone that hasn't gone and loves sledding should go...you'll have a hard time calling anything here in MB a "climb" after that

The smaller sleds were getting around alright today. There's about 1 1/2 feet of powder, then the rest is kinda set-up. Lots of untracked snow left :)

That pic is by a few chutes called the "Bullpen" i think. Not too far from coming off the trail. We were there today and my friend said some guy jumped off there last yr and it was a rough/hard landing.

Glacier House

I agree....Glacier House is a great destination resort. Everything you need is there. Alex will set you up with a guide if you like, not sure about the cost, probably worth it though, just to have someone else there to help you pull stuck sleds. The only offsite activity that they don't have is a ballet, (brass pole variety) and you have to go downtown for that. I think the Caribou closure comes off April 1 for the area as well. Have fun.
