Well I´ll tryed to get some input in this at TY.com, but no response.
Just to see if I could get some other result here, I´ll just repost before I start mess around with my own sled-I´ll just have to wait until I get a new one since my last got stolen...

"Ok, after I found out what the instrumentgauge for the RS Venture GT would cost I just threw the idea away and ordered myself an revcounter to mount in the dashboard beside the oem instrument.

Q: Does anybody know were to "steal" the signal-i.e witch cable?
I know that someone must have done this thing before, eh?"

Any suggestions?

on dis systems you need a square wave signal to operate a tach. so you most likely need a tach adapter. to convert the signal off one of your coils.

Oooops, now I reached the point of my knowledge.
I have absolutely no idea what you are talking about=)
Byt thanks anyway, now I have a place to start from.
More reaserch...

Edit: spelling=P

You tap into a line just above the stock ecu plug. The big grey plug. I cannot remember the color but I will look for you when I get home. I believe it is the white/green but I am not positive. I will post it tonite. This is the line we tap into so that the prologger will display the RPMS.

That sounds absolutely wonderful. I cant tell you how happy I get to here this-sounds like a walk in the park:)

Tap into the black/green sire on the stock harness. It is tight in there so be careful and isolate the splice good so you don't get interference from the other wiring.

Can`t thank you enough, now I got myself a highway in the mountingprocess:)
Looking forward to a wonderful winter with the complete sled-the one that got every bells and whistles I need;)

...until next season, that is:rolleyes:

THANKS!:rose:
