With the cheaper conversion it worked a little better than stock on the trail, but if I had a gas can on the tail of the sled sometimes it felt like it was near bottoming out. On my 09 m1000 with a revalve it would run the trail a little faster but not enough to justify not having the cheaper kmod. It also depends on how kmod does the valving on the shocks, make sure you let them know what you weigh with gear and if you pack extra weight like food, pop, beer, tools, or gas it can make a difference. I think with a little slower valving I wouldn't have had any worries. I have also been told if your not feeling it and need a change then kmod will take of it.
BTW, When I say run the trail and can feel a difference I mean beating the pi$$ out of it, at a point where I am leaving everyone else behind. At normal speed its nice and smooth considering stock valving.
I would have to say its the best mod I ever did, the turbo was great but whats the point when you can't use it. It took my riding level from being just above my piped m1000 to riding the way you see some riding in the dvd's.
