This is what I came up with for an LED light for about $6. Trailer clearance light from Fleet Farm. I cut out the center reflector so those middle 4 LED's aren't blocked (holes were TINY!) Is a 3 into 2 wire style. Used a 470 ohm resistor. Not quite sure how the thing is wired internally but the middle LED's must have a higher ohm resistor which is why they shut off when combined with the 470.
