Rev starter interchangeability 03 600 to 04 800?

I have a chance to pick up an electric start from a 03 MXZ 600 Rev. Want to install on an 04 Summit 800HO. The battery box, solenoid etc are the same. But will the ring gear and starter bolt in? Thanks in advance.

Someone on here should be able to answer this question. Personally, I don't know, but I would think the primary clutch would have the same ring gear pattern on the back of it.

Buy it and try it, and let us know. If it doesn't fit, my daughter would love to have it on her 600, so if the price it right, I'll buy it from you. I would think it would fit though.
