Resurrection Open?

When we talked to the Ranger Station in Girdwood in a few months ago it was open this year to sledding but I don't know if it's actually open due to snow levels. I've never ridden there so I have no idea how much snow they get compared to everywhere else south. Best bet is to call the Ranger Station and ask.

Closed next year?
I read that the winter trail will me closed next year. It's going to be on a rotational opening each year foward. Does anybody know for sure? Would like to ride it sometime. I was checking out the Hope thread that was just started....it answered my question above. KA it looks.

hiking there this summer I read a sign that said there is no motorized use from sometime in febuary to sometime in november. Not completly positive calling the ranger office in the mourning anyway b4 I head to hope.
