Reputable performance shops (preferably Polaris) in the SLC Utah area?

I am trying to find out if there are any good sled shops in the SLC area that deal with Polaris sleds.

I don't necessarily care if they are a Polaris dealer or not, my main concern is that they build high performance sleds and take pride in their work ... IE, they aren't gonna have a $10 an hour 19 year old kid who doesn't give a damn work on my sled like the last dealer I had work on it was.

I pretty much need them to take the sled apart all over again and fix what the dealer I just had put it back together for me screw up.

I've been trying to diagnose this **** (wiring problems) all day today and it's really a ***** to try and do with a propane heater in 5 degree (or colder) weather outside when you don't even really have all the right tools to do the job.

I want them to basically tear the motor down and put it back together and make sure it's right, not just slop it back together like the last place did....then I guess probably help me get some clutching issues figured out.

Anyways if any of you all know of a place like this around the SLC area (or somewhere within about a 3 hour drive of Vernal) please let me know. I've thought about calling up Rocky Mountain Extreme in Dacono CO and asking them to help me out with this but that's damn near a 7 hour drive from where I am right now :(

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Tri city also has a store in springville, about 30 miles south of salt lake. If you are closer that way.

I'll give them a call and talk to them about it tomorrow morning and see what they say.

Tri-City in Centerville

TCP in Centerville has a great service department..and know how to set up sleds.... I am sure the one ins Springville is just as good but I have not dealt with them.... The Centerville shop is top notch!

If you call the Springville store as for Tracy. He runs the shop down there and has been working on Polaris sleds for longer than he cares to admit.

I'm assuming this is your 900 your refering too?

Was it a dealer out in Vernal that screwed it up?

..Don't mean to butt in but.. Starting line products in Idaho Falls had a Damn good rep with Polaris. But I heard that Jimmy Noble, who was the brains behind the Co. was killed in a sled or car wreck. Anybody know about this?

No, it wasn't the dealer here in Vernal, it was the same place I bought the sled from last year in Wyoming.

I'm not gonna mention any names but suffice to say I should have shopped around UT and CO for a better place to take this thing ...

This is the guy you want to talk to. Sled guy dose awesome work there is not a finner sled guy to be found.TCP has a cult following they are a great shop, but their "customer" service has taking a few hits. Im not the only guy who feels this way either.

I will give him a call. I need to get the driven clutch back on so I can at least drive it out of the trailer...

I'll probably have to take it up there to them on a saturday morning or something, but I'll give them a call and talk to them about what's going on and see what they say.

I've never taken a machine to them, but buy parts from them whenever I can't find them locally (most all the time....who knew an 01 RMK was obsolete already?).
Last week, called them Mon afternoon for some parts. All were in stock and sitting on my doorstep Wed afternoon. I'd say that's good service.

SLP is still very good with Polaris. A few years ago now, Jim was killed in a plane crash.

Wellers in Kamas..

They know their set ups..

Anyone have any experience with Fasttrack in Heber?

A guy in town recommended them to me the other day. I'll give them a call too and see what they say.

I think I might just have the local place help me, I really can't afford to have somone 5 or 6 hours away have the sled for a month this time....
