Renegade - how many studs should I install

I've got an 03, 800 Renegade with a 136" x 1.25" track. I'd like to run a set of 1.325/1.375" studs down the middle. Some say 144, others 108.

What do you think and recommend?

"None", is latin that for 162? Kidding. Why do you say they do more harm than good?

I'm going to try without. Maybe cheaper, lighter and hopefully not much of a handling compromise.

I'm a flat-lander and need all I can for traction. You mountain guys have an entirely diferent set of challenges.

Any other opinions?

Im a farmland flatlander also and studs are the way to go. Accelerating and braking are key functions on the flat. Studs give you better performance there. As far as number of studs the more scratch lines the better and of course the more studs the more$$$
