Removing stickers

This may be a dumb question.... but what is the best way to remove my stickers off the hood. Any good secrets besides the old hair dryer and patients would be appreciated.

Not that I know of. I just use the hair dryer when she ain't around. Used a little brake cleaner to get the residue off cause I didn't have anything else at the time.

Wifes blowdryer a plastic putty knife and some goo be gone citrus cleaner from walmart

Go to wal-mart...

auto-body/paint section there is stuff called Tar and Adhesive remover. It is made by 3M. It works great to remove stickers, tar, paint (uncured, overspray, road paint, etc). It is safe on all cured automotive paints as well as plastic.

Brake cleaner is REALLY hard on plastic.

This stuff works great for taking car badges off as well.

I have always used an industrial style heat gun that puts out about 1200 degrees. Every sticker is different though, if you find the magic temp. it will come off with out leaving anything behind. Hardly ever happens though. 3M also makes an acual adhesive remover that works wonders I get it at an autobody supply store but Napa should have it too.
