my sled doesnt have a rear rack and brake light. I've heard i need to do some stuff to it now? like a resistor or something? where to get one and how to wire it in. what size?

I removed the tail light from my 07 summit and i didn't add anything.
I killed my brake light about 1000 miles ago and never did anything to fix it. These aren't AC's your talking about here
