What is the best way to remove graphics off your hood? I tried the heat gun and it took one hr to remove one sticker.

Heat gun not so much a hair dryer,Goo Gone Plastic razor blades or scraper and Beer!
Have had some success with a " pin stripe" removal wheel on a drill air or electric runs cordless down fast. And it always takes longer than you think.

Start with alot of beer if it is a newer sled and if it is a older sled just buy a keg.:face-icon-small-hap.I have always just used a good hair dryer and then some wd40 to take off the sticky residue that some times gets left behind.Just take your time my new sled actually only took me about 45 minutes to get them off.

heat gun on Low and heat large sections of the decal at a time. Too much heat on one place at one time and you will bubble the hood. Once you get the peel moving keep it going so as not to tear the decal and have to start all over again. Sometimes the sticky residue comes of perfectly but, if not, they have products to remove the sticky stuff. I have something call Sticker Shock from Orielly Auto Parts that works well.

i must have been really lucky then, i just waited for a hot day. left the hood out in the sun for a few hours, once i got part of a corner up i slowly peeled the stickers off doing my best to keep them in one piece. didn't leave any glue behind either.

I left sled in sun for 30 minutes, fired up 13hp Honda Pressure Washer, angle 45 degrees with white tip and they were all gone in 60 seconds!

Sometimes Redneck works!

and you still have paint on your hood?????!! I peeled mine off without a heat gun and paint ended up tearing off with it so i had to get a decal wrap to cover that up :)

Ive done alot of stickers and decal kits being 16 years old i like my sled to look good. I usually use a hair dryer and get it really really hot if you can get an air bubble to form thats even better. But then use a razor blade and scrape up a corner til you have about 1-2in of sticker to grab then peal and continue to apply the heat. Then after when you need to get the residue off just use goof-off or goo-gone. I think goo-gone works the best but both will do just fine. beer might help to......not that ive tired it......jk. good luck!
