After I removed the exhaust pipe and header I had to unwrap the bag over a bunch of wires & plugs at the left front corner. It started hard after that, had to prime the cylinders with gas. Took it for a long ride and the yellow engine light came on intermittently. It is off shortly after the start, but come on after that. Haven't had a serious look at the wiring but looking for ideas - is there codes I can read or how to read them? Also ideas on what to check for? Thanks in advance, Mike

Start with this. You removed your exhaust pipe, did you plug the sensor back in ?

anyone know what the TPS settings are for the 2016 AXYS RMK 800 ? I saw various posts - anywhere from 0.7 - 0.94 at idle to 4.0 to 4.2 at wide open ?
Also is there another voltage when the idle screw is backed off and the butterfly is fully closed? Is this correct - connect an external 12v battery to the ECM wire (color?) on the white ECM plug? Connect the blue wire to a voltmeter? Connect the black wire to ground? Thanks in advance

i had the gremlins with my 2016. Every time i road the thing it would flash check engine light and then decrease power. i would turn engine off and it would run great. but it would always do it again. 2 dealerships could not explain it. Replaced knock sensor, replaced pipe sensor, finally did a complete wire harness. still did not work i had this fight go on for 2 months in one season and 2 months into another season. i took the sled to Cody at ride finesse. He took it out on the snow and figured it out. it turned out to be an intermittent failure on the stator. the lack of the right voltage getting to the right places would trigger the light.
