removing driveshaft?

05 rev 800X with the exvert drivers. I have the suspension out and the chain case cover off, the bottom gear off and the secondary clutch off, and the speedo cover off. Now my dilemma is, is something else that I need to take off before the shaft will slide out if so what? Because I can only get about half way up and over the drivers teeth and I'm hitting top of the tunnel. What am I missing? Thanks for any help

got it out!! now just to get it back in LOL

i always have pulled the whole chain case. i dont think you can do it without taking it off.

In 99% of cases your probally right, but the bottom bearing rocked out and gave my the space I needed to do it
