Removing Decals....

Im going to remove some of the decals off of my 06 switchback hood to clean it up a bit and give it a cleaner look. I know its simple but just wondering if anyone has any easy ideas or ways to remove the decals. Love this forum! Thanks guys!!!

Heat gun any glue left wd40 takes it right off

I've had good luck with a hair dryer, there's a fine line between too hot and not enough heat, get it just right and you can pull off quite a bit at a time.

yep what they said. heat decal area from back side of plastic though, really helps with keep the glue to the decal. peeled all the decals of my hood with a hair dryer, and didnt have any residue left to clean up.
