Removed oil injection....now what?

Like stated, i got rid of the oil injection and oil tank. Couple questions for the guys that have done this already.

1) There was a shield that went under the pipe and covered the throttle bodies, which bolted to the oil tank that is no longer there. Can that shield get tossed? Or will that get something hot that isnt sposed to be?

2) What do i do with the wires that went to the low oil level thing in the oil tank? Or will it just have a low oil light on all time now?

Thanks.

the shield i made a small bracket out of thin aluminum and bolted it to the other side of the frame I can take a pic if wanted

as for the oil light, just fire the sled up and see if the light is off with the wires connected or not conected. it should be just an open/closed circuit. when my oil level sender went south I made the light turn off, pretty sure I just unplugged it.

thats fine i dont need a pic...i was just curious if it needs to be there or not. If it does i will make it work. thanks
