Rekluse set up 450sxf with long track 5000ft plus

Was wondering what others have run for set up on a 450sxf w Lt kit for engagement? Comes with 3 blue, 3 gold springs which says medium engagement? Wondering if high engagement 6 gold would be better?

I ran highest engagement on my Core EXP and it worked well. I like to run my idle up a few clicks in the winter and this helps keep the bike from surging at idle.

On all of my bikes I have found high engagement works best even during summer on the most gnarly trails… we have this set on the kx65 crf150r cr500 ktm 300 yzf250… and I have tried them all in our collection…. I love this cheap sport

I emailed Tech at Rekluse last week with this exact question. the response i received was to leave it as is unless your running a turbo/bigbore kit

I know that is what they say but if you are an aggressive rider I am telling you the high engagement works the best… even on my kids and wifes bike it really has been the best… now maybe on the kawi it is different but everyone of my friends and bikes I have owned high engagement it where it is at… but everyone of the bikes are carbed so maybe that makes a difference…
