ReGlueing Lower Control Arm

My son recently purchased a 13 Pro, got it home and noticed one of the glued connections on the left lower control arm is loose. It hasn't separated, but it moves slightly.

Can they be separated, cleaned and reglued ? Or is replacement the best and safest option ?

IMO...

Best and safest.

Buy some replacement arms for both sides in CroMoly.

K-Mod, Z-broz, Alt Impact, Timbersled and a couple of others make some good ones.

A replacement stocker will cost nearly as much.

Just a matter of time and someone is gonna lose it into the trees and never walk again when one of these lets go at 60 mph, especially on the 13s.

Swapping them out, whether the glue has started to fail or not, is the smartest thing to do - use it as a reason to go narrower on the front end when you explain it to the significant other.

We've done it on a friends -13, re-glued (with whatever adhesive was on the shelf) and secured with a bolt through the fitting and tube.

It has held up fine so far BUT I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IT! My friend is well aware off the dangers and don't mind.. Me personally, I would mind!

Buy some good aftermarket ones!
