Have anyone tried vforce or boysen reeds on pro rmk 800. Did it make any difference? And did it last?

And how long do the original ones last? I have about 2500 miles on my 12 now. So i think im gonna change them this summer. But should i go for stockers or something else?

I had Vforce III in my 11 two seasons ago. They didn't last. Tips chipped up quickly. They told me they had not been successful in finding a combination of materials that would hold up in the Pro 8 motor. Maybe they have by now, but not at that time.

Not sure if I noticed anything or not to be honest with you. Did the stage II SLP kit at that time too so too many changes to really notice.

Can you buy just the stock reeds? I replaced mine with stock when the motor was blown but all i could find was the assembly (cage and reeds) from polaris. Would be nice to be able to replace just the reeds on my old cage for spare parts.

Nope, can't replace just the reeds. Polaris only sells them as an assembly. I agree it would be nice to be able to replace them though.

Doesn't Boyesen make replacement petals for OEM cages? I've used them for my Doos and they worked great!

Have FUN!
