I have a Polaris pro rmk with bd turbo, I need to put new reeds in from the abuse they took from last year. I can't buy just the reeds from Polaris they make you buy the hole cage for $200. I am curious to know if any body knows of any good reeds to buy that fit in the stock cage

too bad polaris wont sell just the petals because i keep getting told that they are the best to use. but i also dont like the having to buy the whole cage deal

You can buy the Boysen reeds separately $40 bucks I think. BD says they don't last as long as the stock? We have had them in 2 sleds for 200+ miles.
I did double up the bottom row with the stock petals that were still good.

I think with the new "Torque Box" from BD with the 2 injectors will definitely help with reed life.

HM Turbos has developed a reed lube/limiting system to extend the life of your stock reeds (or any other reed that fits the stock cages) by limiting the reed travel and cushioning the reed with oil. I had my set last 1000 miles. I have a second set if injectors before the reeds and watch your inlet temps.

what type of lifespan are you getting out of these reeds compared to oem? are you putting them in the stock polaris cages?
