REEDS?

Hate to sound stupid, but here it goes! Could someone please tell me what/how reeds actually work. Trying to eleminate these as to my problem with sled. Thanks in advance

reeds work like intake valves on a 4 stroke. They allow air/ fuel in on the down stroke, but don't allow it back out on the up stroke. They're just a simple valve, that's all.

If you have any chips and cracks or not seating well against the rubber it will allow pressure to go into the intake tract. Just inspect throughly!

BCIL is that from just a lot of miles or a turbo?

That's from snowbigdeal's sled. I think it had 3800 miles when he got it, last year.

That might be part of the reason that he wasn't hitting more than 6200 rpm!

It may have had a turbo on it before he bough it though, I don't know.
