Reecer Creek NEWBIE advice

Hey guys I live in Kirkland, originally from Ontario and BC. I have not rode around WA and need some advice. I am proficient high alpine/tree rider and am taking someone from back east snowmobiling this January.

Is Reecer Creek/Blewett Pass a good place to take a MTN newbie?? I want to have fun to myself, which means not digging my buddy out all day and some nice terrain for myself. I want to be able to teach him some MTN riding techniques.

Looking for rolling meadows, some hill climbs, ravines, gulleys, etc. within reach of trails. What is TABLE TOP mountain terrain like??

I only mention Reecer/Blewett as options to get away from the possible WETCOAST cement snow. How far east do you have to go??

Trying to impress eastcoast rider. I am open to other options as long as the are within 2 hours of Kirkland

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.:face-icon-small-hap

Blewett has some great areas for everyone to play. My buddy who is much better rider than me takes me there and he is able to tear it up while I kick back. Easy access to climbs while others can kick back and play in the meadows.

Reecer all the way!

Reecer would be a great place. There is everything from rolling meadows, begginer hills, advanced hills, trails, and a lot of it is right off the groomed trail. I would go up reecer creek snowpark and head to lions rock/table mountain, and from there go to nanum meadow. I am an advanced rider and still love finding new pockets of hills to climb up reecer. The hillclimbs are basalt rock slides, so there is less danger of hitting trees and stumps. Also there is not as much avalanche danger like Gallagher and Lake Anne...

There are some youtube videos of reecer, mostly meadow riding.

Was up there last weekend and have ridden there for over 40 years. The fire has really opened some areas up, just make sure your skis are as narrow as possible. I got caught a couple times because the burnt trees were too close.
