6-7hours install time. That includes dropping/installing skid, drop brackets and extension. Install was relatively easy, just need to spend alot of time making sure its straight and clamping it into place, working the metal so that everything lines up properly. Only trouble I ran into was the first few rivets where the extension meets the tunnel at the kick up, when I started tightening the rivets the extension tried to move around. The end cap where the snowflap goes on also burned up a chunk of time to get everything square. I did use a metal hammer and a chunk of leather on the bends just to make things fit tighter. After a couple of evenings I had it back together.
Rode a couple of weekends in deep snow and felt it performed better. Trail was insanely rough and with a 3 gal. jerry can on the back things look 100%. I would say its definitely stronger then the stock extension.
Looks better, stronger, works great. 2 thumbs up and saved me from buying a new tunnel because I hated the stock tunnel. I may still do a different tunnel but for now I am happy.
Before install Dave will give you the basics in order to allow a smooth install.
Make sure to ask for the Tuesday special pricing hehe.
