Red 2-Stroke Oil

Funny question, but which oils are bright red? I ask because I bought a very high mileage Polaris 850 that still has full compression (factory PSI numbers). The oil in the reservoir is bright red. I'm not saying that the engine is in good condition because of the oil selection, but obviously this oil works in this sled. I'm curious what it is. I think Ski-Doo oil is red... what else could it be?

Polaris VES extreme is, in fact, red.

I had a gallon of Extreme, I just hadn’t opened it yet. Rode today and topped it off with Extreme and it looks the same. Ha, now I feel bad for starting a stupid thread but at least we have a list of red oils for those wanting to color coordinate with their gear/graphics.

At least it's a color coordinated option over smell. Keeps it fresh lol

Legend oil - at least the ZX2-SR version - is also red. It's pretty heavily scented too, so that might tell you something. Turns out there are lots of red-colored oils! If Polaris oil is red now though, pretty good chance that's what it's got. Probably half the sleds out there never see anything but OE oil - not that that's necessarily the best answer.
