record mode

Any one know how to get into the record mode of the cluster?
I installed the upgrade module, and yes, it's not the temp only version.
Compass, and temp work fine, but I can not figure out how to get into the record playback option??

To enter Lap Record Mode:
- Push S to get ODO in bottom digital display (Total Miles)
- Push S for 2 seconds to get REC in middle digital display
- Push S to switch between REC, PLAY & STOP in middle digital display

To Record:
- Push S to switch to REC
- Push M to start recording (each push of M records a new Lap)
- Push S to stop recording.

To Play:
- Push S to Switch to PLAY
- Push M to play
- Push S to stop (for 5 seconds and displays lap time, then next LAP)
or
- Push M to switch to another LAP

To exit Lap Record:
- Push S for 5 seconds
