Recommended Rear Suspension Adjustments

I'm looking for the ideal rear suspension adjustments for Deep Powder Mountain Riding. I am 6'4" and weigh about 230 and load my tunnel like a chuck wagon.
Before I make the adjustments and purchase springs I wanted to make sure I understand what each adjustment and modification will do and that one doesn't counter act the other. I am going to put the limit strap in the bottom hole which I assume will reduce ski pressure and make side hilling easier. At the same time I planned to put the front track shock in the upper hole. I assume this will also reduce front ski pressure?
After riding with these adjustments a couple times I plan to purchase the 225 front shock spring and also the heavy rear suspension spring. I heard there are two heavy rear suspension springs which is most recommended? I hope the rear spring will reduce bottoming out in the bumps but not hinder deep powder riding. I'm not sure I understand what the 225 shock spring will do?
I already have WE front coilover clicker rezzy shocks with Holtz spindles, Simmons Gen3 skis, radiator delete with SLP everything (good or bad it came on the sled), 2" riser and the FMF cable, clutching, 19-42 gears, underhood venting, all 2005 factory updates.

glad to see your looking into it yourslef instead of just having someone tell you what to do...so PROPS on you for that...

everything you stated is correct.

By changing the standard 160lb front track spring to a 225lb unit the front of the sled feels lighter, and is also easier to steer. Enables the balance of the sled to feel more like an Edge—easier to steer when not on the power.

on the rear torsion springs, read this thread..it will tell you some great inputs on the different angles...

also, try this...move the rear lower torque arm mounting bolt on the rails, BACK 5/8" from center of old hole, to new hole...it will work awesome with the new torsion springs ;)
 
also....do a 2 wheel setup on the rear, and you should see some major improvements over the entire stoke skid.

the next step would be better shocks...zero pro, floats or EXIT shocks....or get a Timbersled Mtn, Tamer skid and love life...

It does already have the 2 wheel Mountain Machine Kit. My buddy bought this sled from Tri City Polaris 2 years ago. He was told it was owned by TCP owners friend. It had all the Tri City/SLP bolt ons and all the factory updates done. It currently has about 900 miles on it.
 
I actually just changed a few things on my suspension I added the 225# front track spring and then I moved the limiter straps out to the bottom hole and I moved the shock to the forward hole(lays the shock down more) the therory was it would change the approach angle and get the track up on the snow quicker. I went and rode this weekend and the steering was a lot nicer and I could make the machine sidehill WAY WAY better, and I can go downhill and whip the sled back up hill TONS easier, the only problem is it trenches real bad now in the deep or climbing. Can I just move the shock back or just the limiter strap or do both have to go back cause I really like the steering and the sidehill capabilities way better. Hoping this info will help the OP.

you will have to move the shock back to the upper (straight up) hole...leave the limiter straps loose ;)
 
I hated my limiter straps out all the way with the 225lb spring, no gain in the deep, and horrible understeer on trails / packed. Middle setting on the straps, and almost no preload has worked good lately.
