recommended fuel additive?

Fuel Additive

StarTron seems to be a good one to use with ethanol fuel. Any carb / fuel injector cleaner will work although some are hard on the system components like lines and pumps.

Yamaha makes a fuel system cleaner and stabilizer that we have used for years that works in all systems and never has caused any issues.

If it is just water/condensation you are worried about ISO Heet in the red bottle is good to use.

Amsoils QUICKSHOT works good its purpose is to keep the water suspended clean pistons tops , injectors , and stabilizes fuel

I got a can of this stuff, good stuff, add to gas, kick some *ss. Interested?

I am curious.
Let's say John is running Blue Mable Ultra Jizz, Earl is running a home brew of duck blood & cream corn & Zeek is not using any additive at all.
None of them are having any problems, yet John & Earl both claim their additive is definitely helping.
My question is;
How do you quantify your findings?

It's just like adding chrome. It makes you look like your going faster and if you look faster you feel faster. If the bottle says 10HP gains is must work right. It says so on the bottle.

Exactly.

In fact adding Iso is less needed when running ethanol.

Where I live you can't hardly find gas without corn in it. You never hear anymore about frozen fuel lines because of the ethanol. Doo says Max of 10%, Poo says they don't want any. The only additive I would consider adding is one that helps combat all the negatives of Ethanol. Like StarTron.

BTW, I tried the duck blood and cream corn thing after reading great reviews on the Internet. Not so good (thanks alot Mafesto). Guess you can't believe everything you read.

I've used Torco Fuel Accelerator in the past and I believe it to work.

Case in point, I ran my sled all year using the Torco stuff, lent my sled to my dad's mechanic and even gave him the can, told him to use what was left in the can. He forgot. Burnt down the top end. Detonation. Rebuilt it, have used the same fuel, the same Torco stuff, haven't had a problem again.

I use it for octane, and stay away from oxygenated fuels.

I travel about 10 miles to get 88 non eth, add 1.5 oz of Torco per gallon of gas and always add Yamalube Fuel Med to every tank, gas can, etc.
