509s are not true OTG style goggles. Meaning there isnt a notch along each side of the goggle for glasses. That being said we have some of the thickest foam in the biz which provides for more room inside the goggle for your glasses. For example 509s have 33% thicker foam than spys.

So compatibility with glasses depends entirely on the size of your frames. Alot of guys do run 509s with glasses. You are more than welcome to try them and of course we will accept returns if they don't work with your glasses.

So you must have upgraded the foam big time from last seasons version. The ones I got from last year have less foam than any I have tried. That's why i don't wear them much. They look cool but don't seal to the face very good. That said, I still go back to my Scott Voltage X's with blue lens.

Yes, we did upgrade the foam. Almost an 1inch thick and oversized

You will not have a problem sealing up your face this year with the combo of the nose piece and the new foam. I really don't know how I ever rode without the nosepiece before. I do not mind the cold air, but the roost in snocross sucks if you get hit in the face.

I just hate it when they don't let me exchange the computer I bought last year for a newer, faster one at no charge.

ha ha flatlander, go watch your dog run away for days will ya.. but they will upgrade your computer not make you buy a new one huh? i just looked at mine and i bought a new mattel (flat colour)helmet that i havn`t even had outside yet and found the 509 straps made some nice pink strips from the rubber on it.

I really liked the 509s , the side to side vision was much much wider than anything else i tried. hope the new thick foam dont mess that

Sorry guys, we tried to engineer a nosemask that was compatible with the 08s, but it didn't happen. There was no way to securely attach the mask to the 08 frames and releasing a sub par quick fix isnt in our books. So while the new 09s have several improvements we haven't turned our backs on the 08s. We still back them with the same warranty and stock all replacement parts.

Perhaps unload them on eBay. Bet they'll sell for a decent chunk pretty quick.

Klim does rock in the service dept. Industry standard in my eyes. But I have trouble believing even they would do a free upgrade on a non warranty claim item.

the amount of foam on the 09 sinisters compared to my older scott goggles is ridiculous. there is barely any bare skin on my face with the new 09 sinisters.
