I wear a 661 flight helmet and looking for some new goggles under $100. Definitely like the idea of an additional nose piece.

One pair I was looking at were the Scott 89xi, but which is a better all-around lens the amber or the light sensitive clear?

Thanks guys, I can get some Scott 89xi LS's shipped from within Canada which is a bonus with the bad dollar... anybody ship the 509's from Canada? I'm in SK.

I'm trying the Scott 89Xi this year. I liked the idea of the lenses that went from blue to clear depending on the light. I've had good luck with Spy's in the past.

X2 for spy. I have about 4 sets and love them. Watch spyoptic.com they do an unreal deal of the week and I have picked up $140 goggles for $30 bucks. They do it with their sunglasses too.

If you know how to sew get the 509 sinsters if you like the quick straps they dont attach on the frame. If not i would get some okleys thats what i had before i hit my goggles on the mountain bar lol and you can hook the quick straps up to the frame on them.

I use the Scott TurboFlow OTGs (before I got Lasik!) and they work great.

My wife has the 509s.

Actually on the new 09s you can remove the straps from the goggle hinge and use quickstraps just like you can on any other goggle. Not cutting/sewing required. Another new change for 09.
