I'm sure they did. In hind sight I would have used my spare raw aluminum rails for this "experiment" before letting them fugly this set.Hmm it sure looks like they cut your rail tips to install the new caps.

I'm sure your dealer was just doing what they thought was right but I wouldn't let Polaris get away with it if I was you. In what realm is it okay for a manufacture to fix an engineering blunder by taking a saw and cutting off part of your sled?I'm sure they did. I have limited experience with anti-stab kits, but the few aftermarket set ups I've seen all require cutting of the rail. I assumed it was SOP for this as well. I'd be interested to see the instructions for this kit.I'm sure your dealer was just doing what they thought was right but I wouldn't let Polaris get away with it if I was you. I've spent the last hour trying to find any information on this "kit" at all and have come up empty handed.I have limited experience with anti-stab kits, but the few aftermarket set ups I've seen all require cutting of the rail. Perhaps you or someone else can get a copy from the service dept...?
That's disappointing to hear. My friend and I had to put on work to even get the dealer to look and find the service bulletin. It was like talking to a brick wall at two different dealers. It sounds like it's a few months out for parts and with the season upon us I'm debating just buying the avid drivers and an anti stab. The last ride of the season, my track was ratcheting so bad I thought something was going to break.I've spent the last hour trying to find any information on this "kit" at all and have come up empty handed.
I do know that the correct way for Polaris to fix this is to include the 2022+ rails in the kit. The entire 2022+ rails will bolt right onto your sled and were originally engineered for extrovert drivers that you got in the kit.
What the service advisory doesn't tell you is they actually changed the track itself too and use a different compound for the 2022+ track. I have ridden them side by side - my 2021 with avids versus a couple 2022's with the new set up and there is zero comparison. The Polaris set up is smooth as butter and you can run the tracks even more loose than mine with Avids.
I would be surprised if you can't wrangle up the parts for this update right now being that they have been making these parts for over a year now. I was able to find a driveshaft in about two minutes. I would press your dealer harder or make a call straight to Polaris. That's disappointing to hear. And what all parts did they change for your recall?I would be surprised if you can't wrangle up the parts for this update right now being that they have been making these parts for over a year now. I have a great dealer and I've been in communication with him about this issue from day one so I think this was on his radar already. Luckily they had the parts for the update when I went in last week.

Thanks.
Yeah I'm going to keep pressing the issue. I may do like you mentioned and contact Polaris directly though. The dealer I actually was able to get info from is an hour and a half away so that's a inconvenient thing. Called dealer in town about that and the fuel tank recall last week and they told me the factory doesn't even have a fix for the recall yet and didn't think there was a bulletin for drivers. It's been a battle lolI would be surprised if you can't wrangle up the parts for this update right now being that they have been making these parts for over a year now. Bummer for you and what a terrible dealer. The fuel tank recall parts are already arriving at dealers.Yeah I'm going to keep pressing the issue.
