Rear track shock options for Assault

Completely destroyed the W.E. rear track shock on the Assault today. What options have you tried for track shocks on these? BTW, it rode really well on just the springs.

Thanks-

I had Carl's Cycle build me some Evol-X's for front & Zero Pro's for the rear 5/8' shafts & clicker for rear track shock.
Set up works awsome.

That shock pretty darn tough...5/8" shaft with an external reservoir.

Is it an Assault skid in another sled?

What is broken on the shock? Pics??

What were you doing when you destroyed it?

The Zero Pro is the same layout and shaft dimension.

Best I can tell the shock worked the threads all the way off the bottom body. I re-tightened the track when I bought it a few weeks ago but never noticed any problem with the shock body being un-threaded or the lock being visually loose. Just never thought to physically check it when everything else seemed fine.

I really like riding without the shock, its "springy" on just the springs with no dampening or rebound control. Going to use another stock track shock I have for the rest of the season and if I keep the sled I'm going Timbersled with the floats.

Stuck a pair of 1st generation Floats on the front and at 145 lbs they embarrass the WE's.
