I wonder if its possible to mount a stiffener rod (12) in these holes or will it hit the shock when the suspension bottoms out?

Yes, you can purchase and install the Assault additional cross brace and install it on a Pro Rmk skid with no issues. It makes a substantial difference in the rigidness of the rear skid. I have installed one both 2011/13 pros.

I was thinking the same thing...I also added additional wheel kits and another limiter strap to equalize the load on the front arm. We hit a lot of crap...
