rear suspension, impulse 270 kit on 09 nytro

I have a nytro that my wife will be driving and I will be driving. She will run no boost, and I plan on 15ish. Anyways, I want a new rear suspension and I dont know which one works better, is cheaper, and I really dont want to mess with it much. Kmod, timbersled, M-10, etc. I did quite a bit of searching but havent found what I am looking for. What suspension will work with a boosted sled and still ride good for the MRS? I need something that is comfy for her, lightweight, and will work with the turbo. Thanks for the help. I just got off an M1000 with pipe to go this route.

I think the racers edge kit is on the money for you. The most bang for the buck. It's cheaper than most skids, easy to install just replace rear shock, rear arm, and bolt a bracket to you existing skid. I got lots of seat time on one, it's reliable like stock, it rides much better than stock and I think Its better than my timbersled, but it will control your boosted sled just like the expensive m10.

Racer's edge is the one that I have not been on but I have owned about everything else. If your wife is on this no M10. I'd recommend something that will still make the sled easy when she rides it like the Tsled or Kmod. I think Kmod is superior to tlsled but I am not sure how much if will allow ski lift for when she is on the sled

racers egde with the magnetic blocks work for everything, put a small block in turn your compression clicker down it will wheelie no prob.put in a big block turn up the comp clicker then climb strait up.add the quick ajust limit staps for even more fast ajustment & do this all day:face-icon-small-hap.

Racers edge. Havent heard of them. I will search. I also am going to take off the 153 and 162 it. I am taking my PC off my AC. You guys are awesome. I dont know which way to go yet, but I am checking on this racers edge. The kid will ride on overnight rides and I will ride the skandic SWT on the way out and way back. On the middle day, I plan on turning up the boost. She hates riding the AC and I cant justify 3 sleds and an M just sitting there. SO, make the most and turbo.

I have rode on all three suspensions the racers edge is one of the best riding aftermarket suspensions. The Racers edge is the best for controlling ski lift in boost applications almost maintanence free either than greasing. There isn't much weight saving with the racers edge, but when you have left your sled on the side of a mountain a couple times sans skid weight really doesn't become an issue anymore!

I would suggest giving darryl a shout at 403-254-8686 for more info

I installed Racer's Edge and Ice Age rails on MCX 240 kit with Challenger Extreme, couldn't be happier. Gen 3 skis are awesome as well!!
Cheers

The timbersled suspension is a very good option, drops a ton of weight, and is adjustable to any riding style especially with the newest released version for the upcoming season. There are many(manufacturers) out there to choose from all with great reviews, I would go with the one you can get the best support and service from. I have rode many and choose the timbersled for most conditions.

racers edge kit is about 2k, after a few seasons comparing between the my ts skid which i bought for the weight savings compared to the strong, reliable and good working design, i'd take the racers edge skid, ask daryl to build chromoly front arms if worried about the weight, but honestly your not gonna notice the weight too much with that turbo.

This is her sled. I have the 2011 super wide and the 08 M1000. She could tell me to buy a new sled for myself, but I think I would get an M1100 if I would buy a new sled. She doesnt like to ride the kittys. Says the seat is too hard. If she goes along, I get to ride more.

Need to keep wife HAPPY. My wife rides a 09 153. I will be installing a 2010 skid and tunnel on her sled. my wife likes yammy it does everything she wants it to do. She can even start it by herself.....:face-icon-small-hap

IMO I would go Ez ryde, great ride, plush and transfer very nice. Wouldn't put her on a M10 unless your looking for a divorce lol
