Rear fox evol r sag! grrrr

not to be a smart *** but are you flipping the lever on the pump hose after its tight on the valve? i sold a sled to a guy and he called about the shock being wacked. he was filling it without flipping the lever and all he filled was the hose to 150psi ,not the shock.

yes i know am flipping the lever, thanks tho haha
 
I had the same problem....check that track tension is right on, and go with 150 pounds in the main, 175 in the evol. Mine now has only about 1 inch of sag. Oh, and rebound at 7 clicks out. I am 225# RTR. Good luck.
 
You know, I had a similar issue initially with the rear shock. My "theory" is that the seals needs to be "worn in" and that the evol piston was getting jammed creating larger total volume and more static sag. Even with excessive sag I was never bottoming out and the problem eventually went away. You really may just need to break in the seals - I've found this to be the case with every set of air shocks I've owned. If you take into account the weight of the riders, yooper's and ghost rider's pressures are similar to mine so that's a really good starting point. Also make certain you're filling with air at riding temps and not in a 70 degree heated garage.

Might have been mentioned....checking and adjusting pressures with rear of sled suspended/fully extended??
The stock skid does sag quite a bit, I know on our shop Pro (stock skid) I can lift it up about 6 inches at the rear bumper and it just falls back down, then gets stiff as heck...does this with stock shocks and with Raptors. That's just the way it is designed (Holz clone), but it works OK on the snow. A certain amount of sag is desired, you never want a skid to fully extend to the top of travel (IMO), it needs to be able to fall into the dips as well as follow the bumps.
