So I am getting a new sled. For the first time in my life I am leaning away from Yamaha.

I am in love with the new Pro-climb M1100T and have been thinking hard about getting this instead of a new Nytro with boost.

Honestly the only 2 sleds that i am looking at, I am in Alaska, a big boy! and ride in the steep and deep. I truely feel they are very comparable machines, but the new Pro climb is gonna be a great chassis and platform, but on the other side the Nytro is a proven platform with boost. Either way I am sure I wont lose but want to make the best decision.

For the price I believe they are close to even just wondering if i should stray?

What does everyone think?????

if i wanted to go the 4 stroke route i would probably do the AC for the warranty. but if your gonna void it and juice it up anyway, get the yammy. been putting big power out of the yammies for years.......also factor in other options as well, you can have vertical steering on the cat. that is a deal closer for me right there, but if your used to turning the bars like a steering wheel you got that option as well.......good luck man.....

the cats do look better IMO

Im with Lamb, stick with the yammi. The cat my be a good sled, but in my time you need to give a new sled like the pro climb a year or so to be perfected. Yammi has sure done that.
Oh and I dont even like the yammaha! LOL

If your willing to invest the time and effort to do the mods, there is SO MUCH you can do with a new Nytro!

The Nytro is a platform from which you build your dream sled.

first sled

I hope you get the right sled that does all you need it to. I just got my first sled two weeks ago, and I hope i got the right one too. I got a 2011 PRO RMK 163, Good luck with what ever you get...

I'd go with the Cat. My buddy got to go ride the 1100T with Bret Rassmussen and said its sick. He said it's a very manuverable chassis. So I think that chassis will blow the yammy out of the water, that's just my opinion. I know if i were getting a new sled it would be a Pro Assault. I love that sled!

Go with the Cat or a Pro RMK. How many dependable boosted Yamaha's have you seen on a regular basis here in AK. Very, Very, Very few. Many have gone back to Cat, Polaris, and Ski Doo's. Try to start the 4 stroke up at Eureka in Jan/Feb, better have jumper cables ready.

Cat 1100T may be in short supply.................Yamaha's are stacked 10 high at most dealers...................just saying:becky:

Building a boosted Nytro over the next week or so. Timbersled rear, impulse turbo. 270hp beast.

Only time will tell how good the kitty is. No one has rode it yet but you can turn it up for cheap with the speedwerx box.

Tough decision but for the money and handling I'd run the kitty.

Unless guys are just pushing them to the ragged edge of performance?

As for needing jumper cables in extreme cold.
Isn't that more a matter of having the proper battery installed to begin with?

X2 baby,,,,YAMAHA ALL THE WAY,,,CHECK OUT THE "BLACK" SLED BY SKINZ THEN TELL ME WHICH SLED YOU LIKE PEDAK07 =)

That is Sick! money is surely not the issue, it is the best possible ride for the winter:) I work 3 on 3 off alot of time for riding this year :face-icon-small-hap
But i must say that for 19,999 I didnt see any boost :face-icon-small-fro For 20k i'd like a whistle with it. Still on the fence though. It is also funny when you say your interested in 2 sleds someone always has to throw in there 2 cents how theres is better i.e. Pro RMK, Just find that funny...........Weird

You could buy the 20k yami or just buy a factory sled that already handles as good. Honestly, I would have to ride them both for at least a day. But I would lean toward the cat from what I know.

Well, you have been on a Yammie for a long time so you obviously can ride one. For me, comparing them side by side last spring, the ProClimb was easier to ride in the trees and to sidehill. In stock trim, the Yamaha with the factory boost option had more go than the Cat, but the Cat was easier for me to ride.
