really?...more ammo? What the !@#$

So, had a friggin great day at Baker, sun shining, owned the mountain all day, was first tracks for the day...all that good stuff. but here's something that irritates me....

Why is it that the guy I was riding with and myself had to pick up 4 beer cans that got tossed and left on the snow? WTF? Are people trying to give more ammo to the greenies to show how we can't take care of chit?

I'm going to give the benefit of the doubt....which i probably shouldn't....and hopefully, they just came 'unsecured' from someones pack or sled by accident...if that's the case, then secure your chit up people....

If not, and people are just leaving them on the snow...square your chit up...pick up after yourself like big boys and girls...and don't give them any more reasons to shut us out. frickin retarded. square your chit up people...everybody else on the mountain isn't your mommy cleaning up after you.

Good point, On the north side I picked up 1/2 a heffty bag of cans and trash
just on the last 4 miles of the canyon creek road. The next time I ride up there I'll pick up the rest.
Pick up your trash people!

X2 - I'll take it a step further.

Why are there mass beer cans at the cabins at Greenwater and Cold Creek, but the warming huts are spotless at Chelan, Tri-pod and in the Blues?

It seems to me that closer you are to the urban areas, the less respect for public lands? Or maybe it's just folks come thru in greater numbers? Dunno, just an observation I've made over the years.....

I don't understand why there is so much garbage at the GW cabin. If you pack it in, pack it out. It should be lighter anyways. And how come most of the garbage is alcohol containers. Kind of makes me wonder how many sledders I pass are 1/2 tanked.

I'm glad i'm not alone on this...I spend a lot of time hunting, fishing, sledding, riding -- all sorts of stuff in the hills...and it's just not that frickin hard to pack your chit out....it's just selfish, inconsiderate, and immature to be leaving your crap out there -- let alone what it does to our reps, and the ability for us to be able to use the lands for things like sledding...MAN! ...IT'S JUST NOT THAT FREAKING HARD....FIGURE IT OUT.

No matter how hard I try I just cannot understand the self centered irresponsible don't give a crap mentality of people who pack in beverages but can't manage to pack out the empties. It's usually beer cans, but I've seen some red bull and monster cans littering riding areas as well. I would bet that it's mostly losers still living with their parents and still have their mothers picking up after them (picking up their skid marked undies off the floor).

Maybe they feel that the concept of "pack in, pack out" is only for tree hugging hippie greenies. You would think that they could at least find two functional brain cells to rub together and try to spark up a clue.

The thing that gets me is,, these people DON'T ride alone. Why are the rest of the group so afraid to say something to these selfish idiots? What trailer park do they come from?

Found the same beer can dumping ground at Gold Creek satelite towers

"Lake Cle Elum" may have a good point.. when I was in Priest Lake I went to two differnt very nice warming huts...the kind that dont exist for the most part in this state...they were both clean, with a lot of folks coming and going. We even had a member of our group that left his pack with some valuables in one of the huts...two hours later we returned and it was still there in plain sight and untouched!

In the Clockum area I didnt see the amount of beer cans left behind..it wasnt perfect but not as bad..

Guys..if you want to drink..smash the cans down..use your running boards..flatten them out and throw them back in your bag or trunk..it will help out all of us in the long run..if you see your buddy leaving his chit behind tell him to go pick it up...it really isnt that hard.

it's not like we're asking people to give up their first born, or donate a kidney, or even quit having a beer...it's just grow a sac, be a big boy and clean up after yourself friggin' tards...again, it's the small few that make all of us look like douchebags because you can't grow up and be responsible.

figure it out.

and those who watch your buddies do it and don't say anything? wtf? you need to figure it out too. be a man and tell them to pick their chit up. good boy.
