Just came back from Tog, spent a week on the Pro. 1st off I want to thank the person who totaled out a rental Pro last Sunday as I had a bad voltage regulator at 41mi. 1st day, sled ran great, had issues with getting stuck in places it should not have. Went with softer settings all week and it kept getting better and better (Matte Murder I will PM measurements) On the way back in the trail was hardpack with up to 3" of fluff, water was 125. Noticed temps jumping up to 136 on occasion, stopped to let the rest of the group catch up and noticed my aftermarket flap was missing. Went back to the lodge, gased up the sled, put it in reverse to get it into the trailer, and out comes the flap. It was covering the exchangers between the seat and the rear bumper. Fixed the flap, never saw temps with scratchers down go over 127. Temps went a bit higher when we were cutting our way thru the trees to get to better snow, but I expected that.
Consumed a gal of oil in 265mi, pump was adjusted slightly richer than the scribe mark, straightline acelleration was on par with a 11 800 hcr, as well as fuel consumption.
Took a bit getting used to the narrow body work in relation to how much snow hits me on the legs, but it by far the closest ride to a motocross bike I have experienced on a sled which has been my goal for years. A little clutch tweaking will round out the package, and I thing a phone call or 2 will solve that.
