Reagon speaks out against socialized medicine from the grave.

I wish Reagan was our president today! So badly! He is the only one that wanted to make government smaller in a long long time! :( God bless you President Reagan and rest in peace. When I pass through to the other side I will be honored to salute you for the president you were, the man you were, and staying true to the Constitution!

Reagan was the great communicator, Bo is the great deceiver. Yes every time the dems were entrenched in power socialized medicine came to their mind. They always saw it as a great way to buy votes, especially among people who would just as soon let someone else do their thinking for them.

Bingo! It is also their way of getting more control over people! They would love to control every aspect of our lives! Hmmm lets go in peoples' homes and tell them how to parent.....how to take a chit....how to maintain your car for maximum efficiency.....how to have s*x.....etc, etc, etc.

Wasn't it Vladimir Lenin that said the first step to communism is socialistic health care?

Fixed her for ya.

He also said this, “The goal of socialism is communism.”

Obama displays some tendencies which invite comparison to a now-reviled tyrant from the Soviet Union - Vladimir Lenin.

The more important tendencies :
1. A supreme confidence bordering on arrogance.
2. A supreme faith in the power of government to influence the economy.
3. A disconnect with how centralist policy influences the day-to-day workings of people and businesses.

The irony is that even Vladimir Lenin was forced to reverse course (temporarily) and support privitization when his financial policies brought ruin to Russia.

For a reason I somehow can't seem to articulate correctly, President Reagan has and will continue to have a special place in my being the person I am. I have no explanation for it, but he will always hold a special place in my life.

RIP Mr. President

Obama doesn't qualify to be mentioned in the company of some of those who precede him.

4. A blind hatred of buisness and private enterprise.

I hope/believe everyone remembers Reagan for what he did. Its that remeberance that will get us through once this crony is removed from office and we all use what Reagan taught to to re-build this country to the greatness it is.

he was great, in admitting his own faults(funny);

But it was his farewell address, his coments at 1:30 and most important from 4:45 through 7 minutes are the most moving to me.

But he also answers Carter on national health care;
