dave, any suggestions?.....i'm re=assemeblings the topend in my m8 right now..rings installed letter R facing up, using STP oil treatment as the assembly lube, installing the hardest circlips 1st, while pistons are in hand..

should i dump any extra oil in the bottom end before slidding the jugs on?

No need for extra in the case, just need to premix a little in the gas.

Don't get crazy, more oil is less gas in the mix, meaning leaner mixture.

no just gonna pack the rings, and needle bearings since theyre dry.
thinkin' i should wait, till the day i ride to get gas just to be safe..octane wise.

maybe just mix a gal for heat cycling at house..there's no way i can wait any longer to fire it up!

Just got home from the Avs game....another sweet victory for the Cox family.


Since I moved to Colorado we have never been to a Sporting event where the home team lost! And we have been to quite a few thanks to HP.

I did get to go to a Denver v Charger game, but I was rooting for the Chargers and they pummeled Denver. But Laura wasn't there. And we had one rain out at a baseball game.

Its gotten to the point where we seriously joke about it before the game.
